I'm very close to finishing some of my gallery pieces. They've been taking me quite a while to finish due to the amount of detail in them and also because they are oil paintings, I haven't used oils in YEARS! Hope you enjoy the sneak-peek.

I know the announcement is a TAD late but if you are in the Los Angeles area and want to see some surrealist/fantasy artwork please come down and check out my work. This Saturday, December 16th, will be the last day that my artwork will be displayed at Traditional Ink Tattoo Parlour & Art Gallery. There will be a reception for me at the gallery from 4 pm until 6 pm, I will be there. The artwork will be on display all day! Some pieces are still for sale if you are looking to buy some of my originals :)

October 10 2006:
The Artwork of Karla Ruiz [SuicideKitten] will be on display at Traditional Ink, 4308 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90029.

The show opens this October this Friday the 13th. Entry is FREE, plus the tattoo shop will be offering $50 tattoos on a first come first serve basis.

The show runs from October 13th, closing date is to be scheduled. There will also be a closing show which will be announced soon.

September 27 2006:
I’m selling some bestseller prints on two auction sites, gothicauctions.com and gothauctions.com, both of which are free to subscribe if you don’t have an account. I will be adding more prints to them soon. Also, I’ll try to have most of my store inventory items set up by the end of next week.

July 21 2006:
I will be closing my ebay store by the end of this month of July BUT I will still sell prints and also original artwork through my website.

I’ve been an avid ebay supporter for a long time now even though year by year ebay found new excuses to charge more money for their services. This most recent price spike however was the final straw; ebay has raised some fees by 25% and others by as much as 150%! A service that use to cost me $20 will now cost me $50; it’s an outrage! I could barely afford the store as it was but this has forced me to close the store for good.

But worry not, I WILL NOT STOP CREATING AND SELLING ARTWORK! I will sell prints and original artwork though my website gallery for prints & art store for originals, just no longer though ebay.

July 4 2006:
Greetings!
I’m still alive! So sorry for my absence. I’ve been working on several gallery pieces and a few commissioned pieces here and there, for this reason I will not be auctioning originals on ebay for an extended period of time. Because of demand I will need to raise original artwork prices within the next month. My original artwork is only available through the SuicideKitten ebay store here. Take advantage of the current prices before they go up by the end of the month!
